So, I was tickled pink to find one of my favorite bloggers, Down-to-Earth, posting about her homemade knitted dish/wash cloths! Here's her post, hope you enjoy.

Great! I wish I had listened when my grandmother tried to teach me to crochet...she made all kinds of beautiful items. Those dish cloths would be great hope chest items!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Kim! I love that shade of green...I love picking something up to work on in the evenings as well. It relaxes me.
ReplyDeleteI, too, knit dishcloths! :) Although right now, I am working on knitting an afghan with different patterns in each square. :) So far, so good! :) Yours looks just lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leaving me such a kind comment! I truly appreciate it! :)
Very pretty, and useful too! I like the border you've created around it.
ReplyDeleteI only recently picked up the hobby of knitting (along with crocheting and sewing), so I only have a basic down (yes, just one basic, lol). But I really like the idea of knitting my own dishcloths. I'm always trying to find ways to save this family money. Maybe this will be a good project for me to use to hone in my new skills (or rather, learn my new skills heh heh).
ReplyDeleteHi! I just found your blog (not sure how many blogs I went through to get here!) and love it! I've been cruising around a while and see that we have quite a few similar interests. Love the dishcloths -- they are the only thing that I will knit, I actually prefer crochet (not sure why, maybe faster?) and I like to feel like I'm doing something watching movies as well! I'll be back!
