Homemade Knitted Dishcloths

I enjoy making knitted Dish/Wash cloths. It's nothing big & I'm not IN ANY WAY an expert knitter, but it keeps my hands busy & soothes my mind while I sit & watch T.V. or a DVD w/my family in the evening. I don't feel like I'm completely wasting my time.

So, I was tickled pink to find one of my favorite bloggers, Down-to-Earth, posting about her homemade knitted dish/wash cloths! Here's her post, hope you enjoy.

  1. Great! I wish I had listened when my grandmother tried to teach me to crochet...she made all kinds of beautiful items. Those dish cloths would be great hope chest items!

  3. I, too, knit dishcloths! :) Although right now, I am working on knitting an afghan with different patterns in each square. :) So far, so good! :) Yours looks just lovely! :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leaving me such a kind comment! I truly appreciate it! :)

  4. Very pretty, and useful too! I like the border you've created around it.

  5. I only recently picked up the hobby of knitting (along with crocheting and sewing), so I only have a basic down (yes, just one basic, lol). But I really like the idea of knitting my own dishcloths. I'm always trying to find ways to save this family money. Maybe this will be a good project for me to use to hone in my new skills (or rather, learn my new skills heh heh).

  6. Hi! I just found your blog (not sure how many blogs I went through to get here!) and love it! I've been cruising around a while and see that we have quite a few similar interests. Love the dishcloths -- they are the only thing that I will knit, I actually prefer crochet (not sure why, maybe faster?) and I like to feel like I'm doing something watching movies as well! I'll be back!

  7. For home educators, students and researchers: I have put one of the most comprehensive link lists for hundreds of thousands of statistical sources and indicators (economics, demographics, health etc.) on my blog: Statistics Reference List. And what I find most fascinating is how data can be visualised nowadays with the graphical computing power of modern PCs, as in many of the dozens of examples in these Data Visualisation References. If you miss anything that I might be able to find for you or if you yourself want to share a resource, please leave a comment.
