I have so many 'favorite' blogs & such sweet, sweet blog friends. One of them is a relatively new find, Connie, from the Reagan Family Farm (http://reaganfamfarm.blogspot.com/). Pay her blog a visit...you won't be sorry.
I wanted to send you her way today, because she posted what looks like a very easy, very yummy granola recipe & I thought you would enjoy it. One of my favorite breakfasts - when I eat breakfast :-/ - or mid-day snack is yogurt topped w/granola. I can't wait to make some of this & try it out. Here's Connie's recipe ~ Enjoy!
Blessings from Ohio, Kim<><
FARMHOUSE GRANOLA
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. honey
Melt in a large pan in the oven at 350. Add:
2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
Stir together, then add:
12 c. oats
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. almonds (or any nut of your choice)
1-2 c. graham cracker crumbs
(a new secret ingredient that isn't necessary, but is good)
Stir well, then bake 15-20 minutes, depending on how brown you like it. Stir it every 5-7 minutes.
