I Think of You Everyday . . .

26 years ago this morning, our sweet little Jessica graced Heaven's gates. I still remember exactly how she felt in my arms & I still think about her ~ even if it's a simple, fleeting thought ~ everyday.

I did this drawing as a Mother's Day gift for myself the May after she passed. The model I used from it was from her last photo, 5 days before she passed.

If you have never read her story, click HERE.

Blessings from Ohio . . . Kim<><

  2. Oh Kim,

I am so sorry for your loss. I have never experienced giving birth to a child or holding one in my arms but I cannot imagine how much hurt you feel. BUT with that comes the joy of knowing that sweet Jessica is with Jesus. For us as Christians it is a glorious place to be.

Thank you for being so open and sharing your heart. As Greg and Donna said the sweet anticipation of that heavenly reunion. You know whose arms sweet Jessica is in and you will be reunited :)

  4. Kim, you are such an example of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child; but you both are incredible. I am sure you have blessed many lives with what you learned from this experience. I too know that you will hold this precious daughter in your arms again someday.
I love the drawing of your baby. Blessings to you for this sweet post and for your story.
