Yes...he did serve the Lord and honor him with his life Marmee...so I agree, the Lord will tell him "well done"!!! I am feeling sad for his wife and family this morning. But I know he is in heaven and I am sure that brings them peace.

I love cottages and have a Kinkade print hanging in my guest bedroom...which I call "the cottage room"!
I am glad he did so many paintings, so that his work will live on...but sad that we shall not see any new pieces in the future.
