This is the only picture I have in my computer of me playing the dulcimer. This was taken a few years ago ~ note the LONG hair ~ on our other church's praise & worship team. I traded off between singing, flute, Irish penney whistle & hammered dulcimer...whatever was needed & fitting. :-)
Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><
Will be thinking of you today as you give your demonstration.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there :) . I love the sound of a hammered dulcimer, but it looks rather tricky to play. Have a great time.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Catherine :)
I hope all goes well today, I'd love to hear an Irish penny whistle!
ReplyDeleteoh Kim, you are amazingly talented! May God bless you big time!
ReplyDeleteOh, I would LOVE to hear you play! I like the sound of all those instruments you mentioned. C'mon girl, I'm eagerly awaiting your CD release ;-)
ReplyDeleteKim..I would enjoy your demo and your hammered dulcimer playing :)
ReplyDeleteI tried to load your button but it wouldn't load.
Thanks for stopping by, Kim. I'd love to "see" your treasures from your Grandma! I love dishes and when they previously belonged to someone special in our lives it just makes the "history" so endearing to my heart. And how special to have your grandmother's apron! My grandma always wore an apron, too...but I don't have any of them. Hope things went well for you today.
