Another Year of "What If's..."

Today would have been our Jessica's 26th birthday. I was expecting her on my 26th birthday.

Her birthdays always make me think of all those what if's . . .

You can read her story HERE.

  1. Oh my goodness..tears through the whole thing. I am SO very sorry for your loss...My heart aches for you even after all these years...time heals it is true...but one never forgets and weeps the same. I know your precious baby girl is rejoicing and having an amazing life with Jesus just waiting for you...but those here...we cry.

Know my friend I will be praying for you on this day....sending you many hugs. Wish I could be there in person. But you are safely in the arms of Jesus this day...no better place to be.

    Hugs,
    Connie

  2. Kim -- your Jessica was born 2 weeks before my Jessica (she'll be 26 on 11/1) Holding your close in prayer, sweet friend. What a great reunion day you'll have someday :)

    Blessings!

  3. You are so brave. I have a best friend who lost a daughter, she was older then your dear Jessica, but loosing a child is the same no matter the age.

I marvel how after all these years she celebrates in the time spent, sorrow still about but not overwhelming.

You and my friend are so brave. May God show His grace upon you. And one day you and Jessica will be hand in hand again.

  4. Kim, thank you so much for sharing this story. It brought tears to my eyes. I can't even imagine the pain of losing a child; but I can relate to your faith in the Savior. I am sure that you have helped many individuals with their hard moments in life. You have a compassionate and loving heart. Yes, God has a plan for our lives and someday you will see this angel daughter again.
Blessings, love and hugs to you!
