A Short History of Medicine

Here's a little something for your funny bone. A Facebook friend sent this my way, couldn't resist passing it on.

Blessing from Ohio...Kim<><

A Short History of Medicine:
"I have an earache..."
500 B.C. -Here, eat this root...
300 A.D. -That root is heathen. Here, say this prayer...
1650 A.D. -That prayer is superstition. Here, drink this potion...
1920 A.D. -That potion is snake oil. Here, swallow this pill...
1975 A.D. -That pill is ineffective. Here, take this antibiotic...
2000 A.D. -That antibiotic is artificial. Here, eat this root!!!

  2. Funny how some things( worth keeping) come full circle!

Maybe this sounds strange but God put everything we need here on earth, we just need to use our brains, through prayer, to learn how, when and what to use. I firmly believe this. :o)

    Blessings for your day,
