Happy Birthday to my 'Baby' Baby!

19 years ago today, I had a precious - although, LARGE (9lbs 1oz) - baby girl. Our 3rd...and last. Where has the time gone? I know...I'm sounding like my grandparents, but it's so true.

In my mind they should be little girls running around the back yard w/our Sheltie, Hickory, who grew up w/them, played w/them & kept them 'herded' in the back yard. Or they should be doing art projects for a homeschool assignment or playing w/their American Girl dolls. Or I should be running you & your sister to ballet or homeschool volleyball games. {Go Golden Angels!!}

You are so artistic & creative. You think of the most wonderful, original things to make or create. You have such a fantastic eye for photography. You are so willing to help anyone in need.
I'm sad that time has passed so quickly, but I'm happy for the relationship we have.

My Jenna ~ I love you, Sweetie. You are one of the greatest blessings of my life. I don't deserve you but I'm so glad you are here & share my life.

Happy birthday, Sweetie!

Love, Mommy<><

  3. Yes, they do grow up way too quickly, don't they? Happy birthday to your sweet little girl, Kim! I'm so glad they are close to their mother too. ;)

  4. What a beautiful daughter, and so talented! There is something special about our adult relationships with our grown children. In the best relationships, they are not only our children, but they become our friends, too (smile). Blessings to you and your family!

  5. awww. have a very sweet and cherished day with your daughter.. Mother/Daughter relationships can be very very special. I find it so sad when I hear of mothers and daughters who aren't close or don't even talk to each other. What a shame and such a Huge loss of potential joy between two grown women and could-be sisters in so many things. I am glad you and your daughter are the close and loving kind. Knowing God makes it incredible. :-) BLESSINGS today.

  6. Hope she had a great birthday! She shares the day with my hubby! :) He turned 31 yesterday! My 3rd baby was over 9lbs as well! 9lb 8oz...but it was a boy! I was actually 9lb 7oz at birth! (although I like to remind people I was 2 weeks overdue and that was before they induced people as much as they do now....so I was a lil over cooked!)ha!
