I use my Tea Tree & Thyme Toner/tonic, mostly: http://marmeespantry.blogspot.com/2011/01/tea-tree-thyme-healing-tonic.html

Here are some other astringents/toners, sometimes I use the 1st one mentioned: http://marmeespantry.blogspot.com/2012/03/homemade-toners-astringents.html

For a "moisturizer" I prefer Hyaluronic acid/serum. It's something that your body makes anyway but starts slowing down at about age 30; it hydrates your skin & body & helps w/everything from keeping skin plump & soft to, if taken internally (& I do that, too), helps w/joints, skin, dry eye . . . all sorts of good things. I use a serum called Hya-Glo on my face, you can find it in many health food stores. A little goes a LONG way.

Blessings . . . All 3 of the oils are anti-bacterial & anti-fungal (tea tree is also antiseptic)but the rosemary adds the castile soap in buffering the possible harshness of of the other 2 oils. My skin happens to be very oily, acne-prone & thick ~ even though I am now 53 ~ so even using tea tree directly on a blemish doesn't faze my skin, but I like the buffer of the rosemary & the hint of it's fragrance is a bonus to me.

So . . . after all that, it shouldn't bother you unless your skin is on the oily AND sensitive side. :-) Let me know how you LOVE it.

Blessings fro Ohio . . .Marmee's Pantryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01612989781352785304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7969468832602521879.post-55481281411142345182012-12-08T01:14:16.931-05:002012-12-08T01:14:16.931-05:00hi! i asked this question earlier, but no response...hi! i asked this question earlier, but no response. can you leave out the rosemary oil or will it alter the benefits?? thanks!
